Erin Eldershaw

Fight Choreographer

Erin Eldershaw is a dynamic multi-disciplinary artist with a passion for storytelling through acting, dancing, teaching, choreographing, and fight direction. Among the many artistic hats she dons, Erin has recently welcomed her first child into the world, proudly adding ‘Mom’ to the list of titles.

Originally from Ottawa and a graduate of Canterbury High School, Erin pursued her formal training in Toronto at George Brown College’s Acting Conservatory. Her artistic journey has been shaped by a commitment to female empowerment and queer centric narratives, with a focus on new Canadian voices. As an actor, she has received two nominations and one win for Best Supporting Actor from My Entertainment World.

Erin’s deep interest in physical theatre and the precision of movement led her to the world of stage combat and martial arts. She has trained extensively with the Fight Directors of Canada, earning advanced certifications and developing a unique flair for choreographing compelling, character-driven stage violence. Her fight direction credits include work with the Great Canadian Theatre Company, A Company of Fools, Theatre by the Bay, Opera York, West Island Theatre Company, and many others. Dedicated to education and community-building, Erin also teaches at high schools and colleges across Ontario, while regularly offering local workshops that introduce performers to the art of movement and stage combat.

Now based in Montreal, Erin is thrilled to be joining the LWRFH team as their Fight Choreographer this summer. Feeling deeply welcomed and completely jazzed, she can’t wait to *murther* everyone in the most theatrical way possible. Let’s get messy!
